Lime Crime Love Story

As some of you may know, I LOVE LIME CRIME!!!!!

Oh sorry, i got excited. Anywhosers. I felt since i loved Lime Crime so much, that i should do a blog about them, and have been reminding myself to do one ever since i purchased my first Lime Crime products. As always, life got in the way. I was working for disneyland and had no time to sleep or breathe, let alone play with makeup. So here i am, sever purchases later, to show you everything i have collected so far, and how i feel about their products.

The first time receiving a package from Lime Crime, was like something sent from the gods. Now this picture is not my picture, because of course my computer likes to eat my pictures -_-, but still. This is what it comes in. I believe they've even updated their boxes since i received mine, i think its purple and white with a quote by Mrs. Doe Deere herself. Seriously, Purple and green, IN THE SAME BOX. i think they know me so well.

I do have to admit, the first order i got, one of my eyeshadows was spilled everywhere, but that is what is so great about them! I emailed they're customer service representative, and not only did they send me a new eyeshadow of the color that spilled, but they let me keep the original, AND gave me a discount code, for the next time i ordered something. What other company do you know that goes to those lengths just to make sure their customers are happy with what they receive.

(My collection of Lime Crime. I dream of owning the whole collection one day.)

One of the main reasons i love this company so much, aside from the amazing colors they have, is their employees. Not only are their customer service reps nice (one being Doe's husband Mark), but everyone else on the team is just so sweet and courteous to the people who are keeping them employed. I've had experiences with them via internet, but my dreams came true when i met Erica, Doe, and Mark at the IMATS in Pasadena. They were selling the products 40% off (!!!!!!!) and were there to assist you and help you decide what colors would look best, or what you just HAVE to have in your collection. Of course i already had my mind sent on the colors i wanted so most of our conversation was just about how to get into the industry and our love for makeup. i even got a picture with Mrs. Deere. She was dressed so beautifully, and spoke so softly. I just wanted to squeeze her, she was that adorable.

(Isn't her dress amazing?! Her husband Mark and Erica in the background)
(They took this picture after signing the poster for me, this is my boyfriend and i)

Now that i have blabbed on and on about how much i love the people and the customer service i guess it would be smart of me to explain the products.

Lime Crime is one of those dime a dozen companies that has exactly what you have been searching for your entire life. Finally it shows up right under your nose, and is actually worth your time. Their eyeshadows come in so many different vibrant colors. Colors named after things in your childhood that make you happy (Mint To Be), or names taken straight out of movies (Mischief Managed!), or even named after the founder herself (Airborne Unicorn). They just make you want to jump for joy and spread the glee to everyone, which i have. Especially now that they have an affiliate program, i can help spread the glee, and possibly help to make money for my career in makeup while i'm at it. Affiliates are the people who spread the word about the company and the promotions going on, and in return get a 15% discount on every purchase, and can make money with every click on their site. It's such a smart idea to those that feel as passionate as i do about them.
